“I arrived at this spot during the early morning hours to avoid the crowds of Instagram photographers who tend to invade the Sai Wan Swimming Shed. My goal was to emphasize the fine art quality of the landscape through a very long exposure (2 minutes in this case). I focused on the geometric lines of the pier to contrast with the fluid nature of the water. This image represents my interest in capturing hidden heritage sites and the calm side of city life.”
