“I waited for the perfect subject to walk past this light installation in a Bangkok shopping mall. The graphic nature of the wavy lines immediately suggested a high-contrast black and white composition. I wanted to emphasize the geometric interplay between the person and the digital screen. By exposing for the highlights, I reduced the man to a clean silhouette although you can just make out the pattern of lines through the glasses he is wearing. This approach reflects my interest in urban landscapes and fine art photography, seen here in colour at a different location in the same mall”
