“I took public transport to the viewpoint on The Peak and discovered about 50 other photographers had the same idea. I waited for the clouds to clear so the lights could truly pop against the hazy background. Seeing the city ignite like a circuit board is a sight I never tire of capturing. It took several long exposures to get the water silky smooth. I hope this image conveys the immense scale and the vibrant spirit of a city that truly never sleeps.”
